This Tutorial is showing you how to make your website more personal, by changing the favicon.

So you want to know what is a favicon?

A favicon, is a little picture, next to your website adresse, like on the preview picture above, it is the SWS robot.

How to add a favicon?

You can add a Favicon by uploading a picture, by using the size 16 x 16, and saving it as ".ico". Means the file you upload on your website should be 16 x 16 and should be named "favicon.ico". The name is important, otherwise it would not work.

You can create a favicon with photoshop. If you got a picutre, but not photoshop, you can use following useful site, to modify your picture you "facivon.ico".

If you got the file, upload it to your website.

Your Done!

PLEASE NOTE: It maybe takes 24 hours to change your favicon.

Get a Footer including a Navigation Bar

Posted by SherWorkStudios on January 9, 2012 at 11:15 AM Comments comments (5)

What can i use this for?

You can use it at your footer, so people can easily switch pages on their footer, or you put some pages there, you don´t want to be seen at your navigation bar. You got 3 catagorys where you can add 5links per catagory. On the right side you can add the logo of you website and a Copyright for your website.

How to add this?

 First of all copy the CSS code from above, and paste it at your "Advanced CSS" Area at Modify Template. If you want another "footer background" you have to change at #fw-footer the background like this: background: url(www.YOURFOOTERPICTURE.com);

Then Copy the HTML Code from above, and change all "YOURLINKS" to the links of you site, the "Title" to the tite of one of ya 3 sections and the "test" to the name of the link. Paste the HTML code at your footer Site Footer ) and publish. You maybe have to resize the #fw-footer!
